Vision-Mission of Saint Joseph Seminary of Ipil

Vision

It envisions to be a home of formation for seminarians to be men united with Christ; thus, live the Gospel values and serve the people of God especially the poor. It further envisions seminarians to become committed holy priest in the humble service of the Church.

Mission

To develop in them integral formation; to become agents of change in response to the challenges of the Gospel.

To allow candidates a continuing discernment of the Will of God.

To immerse them into the spirit of prayer and community life and prepare them for theological studies.

To produce future shepherds of the Catholic Church after the example of Jesus Christ,

the High Priest.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
